Rec League Game Recap: Snicklefritz vs 3 Horstman & Goons vs Red Phoenix
Another electric week of Basketball Rec League action featured two big-time performances and a tough decision for Player of the Week honors.
Snicklefritz vs 3 Horstman: John Bihl takes over
In a surprising twist, sub John Bihl stepped up for Snicklefritz and put on a show, finishing with 16 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists — a triple-double that carried Snicklefritz to a much-needed win. He dominated both ends of the floor, cleaning the glass, finding open teammates, and finishing strong inside. He earned Player of the Game and made a strong case for league-wide honors with his all-around impact.
Goons vs Red Phoenix: Dahler does it again
Connor Dahler continued his hot streak with another Player of the Game performance, dropping 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in a solid win over Red Phoenix. His scoring punch kept the Goons ahead all game long and proved once again why he’s one of the most dangerous offensive players in the league.
Player of the Week: John Bihl
While Dahler lit it up once again, John Bihl’s triple-double off the bench in a tight game gave him the edge. His ability to control the tempo, dominate the glass, and create plays made him the most complete performer this week. Stepping in as a sub and producing at that level earns him Player of the Week honors.
